When the Cat’s Away the Mice Will Play

Some of you fellow bloggers may be wondering what has happened to New Cool Thang. Where are the highly thoughtful posts on Mormon doctrine and why do I have to keep sitting through this crazy woman’s stories about her naughty children?

If you didn’t know I am Geoff’s wife and I actually had my own blog for about 2 seconds until Geoff asked me to move in with him. He gave me some line about how if we pooled our resources we would have more fun and more success as bloggers. I thought about, agreed and here I am. I was always a sucker for a good line. Anyway, Geoff has needed a little break from posting and so I have taken up the slack for him. For those of you who miss the intellectual stimulation, don’t worry he’ll be back soon, he hasn’t deserted you. For those of you who enjoy stories about the life of a woman you don’t know and her sometimes misbehaving children you’re in luck, I’ll be here all week.

Since Geoff has taken the role of an observer for a bit I’ve decided to lighten things up and in this post I’m asking for fellow bloggers to tell me what their favorite or most useful websites are (remember, this is a wholesome family blog). My personal favorite right now is www.morethyme.com . It’s a dream come true for anyone who has to plan menus and cook on a regular basis. It does the recipes, menu, sheet shopping list, and nutrition information planning for you. It’s great, check it out.
