I’m now an empty nester and a grandpa. I can say, this blog was very important for my faith in many ways. Miss you too.

The good old days.

That tugs at my heart.
I miss the community and camaraderie of the old blogging days.
And I miss you, too.

Are comments not working.

Heh. Thems were the days.
If it helps, I have a post I’ve been considering writing. Maybe this will be the nudge I needed.

Also, sorry about comments not appearing previously, y’all. Evidently The Thang technology is a little long in the tooth…

Some thoughts have been percolating in my mind, and I would love to hear your take on them.
1. What is the higher order of kingdoms mentioned in D&C 130:10?
2. What could a “Higher Exaltation” Mean that Joseph Smith referred to?
3. Why is getting sealed a prerequisite to Exaltation?
4. What are your thoughts on the progression between kingdoms? The notion is becoming more popular, but I see it directly conflict with several verses in the Book of Mormon

Jeff #9: I still can’t believe Clark passed away. Such a bummer. That dude taught me a lot.

I miss you all too. Blogging was superior to social media in so many ways. I have a son going into the MTC this week and as he has gotten into studying the gospel to prepare, one of the things he did (no prompting from me) was to read a bunch of posts and comments from this blog. It is funny to see him get to know many of you and come in to talk to me, frustrated about certain people being obtuse or whatever. My previous two missionaries both did a similar thing of reading the blog, so your comments and posts are teaching a new generation of heterodox youth, haha.
