One Week left to take Survey: Invite your friends
Currently our survey has 802 responses, but has only picked up about 10 a day for the past week or so. So this is my last pitch. Next week we will take the survey down and start analyzing the results, so if you have anyone you think might be interested in taking the survey, pitch it to them. We really would love to get more participation. Currently our confidence interval is something like +/- 4.5, and it would be great to tighten that up a bit. I guess this is my “Now go and get [others] to partake.” post…
Anyway, thanks to everyone who has taken the survey and to those who have invited friends to participate. It’s been a pretty awesome turn out up to this point, and the results we’ve gathered so far are really interesting. I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you.

Matt, I took it twice so each personality could have a go. I can assure you that they are independent random variables. But “I” don’t know if “he” can.

I took it just now. I think some of my answers may be surprising. Like most surveys, it seemed to have unanswerable questions, like questions of which the underlying assumptions were false to begin with, so no option given would be true. I just answered these as best I could.
Polygamy will return? Yes, but equally in the form of polygyny and polyandry. Yet the question seemed to assume polygyny only. So do I answer the underlying assumption or the bare question as stated? I think I said yes.
Will women be given the priesthood as men now have it. No, they’ll be given the female priesthood directly from Heavenly Mother, which is something very different and likely far more powerful. So what answer should I pick? I think I said no.

Wow, this is the first I’ve heard of a different and more powerful priesthood from MiH. I’m interested on what differences you have in mind and what additional power you have in mind. Are you willing to expand on it here or point me to a post or something?

I think the priesthood is more like a form of sociology than a form of technology, so it sounds odd to me to consider whether one priesthood is more “powerful” than another in anything other than sociological terms.
